US News and World Report's Best Fine Art School review - Art Institute of Chicago

US News and World Report's
Best Fine Art Schools

Top three graduate schools for Fine Arts.
For Graphic Design, Painting and Drawing, or Visual Communications

Also coming in at 2nd Place:
School of the Art Institute of Chicago, located in Chicago IL.

Located between a sea of skyscrapers and Millennium Park.

When looking at the top art schools, the 1st thing I want to know is where the school is located, what the campus looks like, and can  I see myself thrown into this atmosphere and succeeding?

The second question I ask is  did anyone graduate from this school with enough talent and skill to become successful and well-known? Who are the notable alumni?

Notable Alumni #1: Georgia O'Keefe, recognized as the Mother of American Modernism

Georgia O'Keefe was famous for her flower and landscape paintings. This is Yellow Sweet Peas.

 Another Notable Alumni:
Grant Wood a great proponent of regionalism

American Gothic, one of the most famous and recognizable paintings in American Art

In conclusion, judging by the campus and the alumni, it is no wonder that US News and World Report's chose Art Institute of Chicago as one of the best art schools! However, each person much judge for themselves whether the school is a good fit for them personally.
